A Journey in Teaching and Learning
A reflection on teaching, learning, and discovering purpose in the classroom

Today was the last day of this module as a TA under Diperson Shrestha at King’s College; and what a journey it has been.
I clearly remember our first session, where many students had little to no exposure to coding. But today, the projects they presented truly amazed me. This group of students has been incredibly disciplined, creative, and inspiring. I feel genuinely proud to have been part of this class.
As a TA, I was involved in every aspect of the learning process; supporting teaching activities, pairing with students during learning, preparing class content and assignments, checking submissions, managing attendance, sending notices, responding to emails, and helping students with concepts they struggled with. I also contributed to preparing test questions and evaluating test papers.
Working under Diperson has been a masterclass in pedagogy. I’ve always aspired to become a professor, and this role confirmed that there is nothing more rewarding than fueling a student's curiosity. Onwards and upwards.
